Teklang(“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, company name, and inquiry message when you complete contact forms or request services. Additionally, when you interact with our website, we automatically collect standard technical identifiers including your IP address, browser type, device information, referring URLs, and access timestamps in server log files.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or applicable jurisdictions, we process your personal data under the following legal bases: (1) Performance of a Contract: To deliver requested products and services; (2) Legitimate Interests: To maintain operational security, prevent fraud, and optimize user experience; (3) Compliance with Legal Obligations: To satisfy record-keeping and regulatory requirements; and (4) Consent: For non-essential cookies or direct communications, which you may withdraw at any time.
We use your personal information strictly to fulfill customer requests, operate our software products, provide support, communicate administrative updates, and ensure platform security. We do NOT sell, rent, trade, lease, or monetize your personal information to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
If you connect third-party platforms (such as Google OAuth APIs) to Teklang services, Teklang's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will strictly adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer or share third-party API data for serving advertisements, nor do we use user data to train generalized machine learning or artificial intelligence models.
We may share necessary data with trusted third-party service providers (sub-processors) solely to facilitate essential functions such as cloud infrastructure (Cloudflare), secure database management, transactional email transmission, and system performance monitoring. All sub-processors are bound by strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) requiring them to protect your data and prohibiting any unauthorized use. We may also disclose data if compelled by subpoena, court order, or applicable law.
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers protected by AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 encryption in transit. We enforce strict role-based access controls, vulnerability audits, and network perimeter protection. Where data is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) are implemented.
We retain personal information only for as long as needed to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, or to meet statutory legal obligations (such as tax or legal compliance). Contact form submissions and account logs are stored for up to 24 months. You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@teklang.com with the subject 'Data Deletion Request'. All verified requests are processed within 30 days.
Depending on your residency, you possess rights to: (1) Request access to and copies of your personal data; (2) Request correction of inaccurate information; (3) Object to or restrict processing; (4) Request data portability; and (5) Exercise rights without facing discrimination. Our website uses only essential session and functional cookies (such as theme selection and session state). We do not deploy third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or fingerprinting scripts. You may disable cookies via browser settings, though core site navigation remains fully operational.
Teklang products and website are intended strictly for enterprise businesses and adult users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under 16. If we discover that a child under 16 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately upon notification.
